Salim or mung bean noodles are Thai sweet that is popular in Thailand
and can find in sweet street vendor. In previous post, cooking recipe also provide a similar sweet which is called Pandan Noodles with Coconut Milk.
Mung bean noodles have multi colors, normally green pink and white. Mung bean flour will be mixed with water and food coloring and use Salim press to make noodles.

will be served with coconut milk and crushed ice, very nice in hot
summer.

- 1/2 cup mung bean starch
- 2 cup water
- 1 tsp. Jamine flavor
- Food coloring
- Salim Press
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Pandan leaves
- Mix sugar, salt, and water over medium heat
- Stirring until dissolved completely
- Finally add coconut cream and pandan leaves
- Keep stirring until well. Set aside
- Mix flour with water together
- Add food coloring and jasmin flavor
- Turn on the heat and keep stirring around 10-15 minutes or until the mixture thick consistency
- Pour the cooked batter into a Salim press with a bucket below containing water
- Press down equally through the holes into a bowl of cold water
- Leave the starch noodles in the cold water for about 5 minutes
- Place Salim noodles in a bowl and add the coconut milk and crushed ices
- Ready to serve :P
