Thai Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango (Thai Dessert) - ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง (Khao Niew Ma Muang)

A ripe mango that has sweet taste eats with sweet sticky rice topping with coconut cream. This dessert like a gift from tropical that has full flavor and aroma of South East Asia. It is a healthy dessert.
Ingridients:
  • 2 managoes
  • 250 g. sticky rice
  • 150 ml. coconut ceeam
  • 200 g. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 pandan leaves
  • 3 tbsp. roasted split monk bean
Ingridients: For coconut cream for topping
  • 80 ml. coconut cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
How to cook:
  1. Put the rice in a bowl
  2. Cover it with two or three inches of water and let it soak for at least six or up to 24 hours - The longer, the better
  3. Drain the soaked rice and pour it into a steamer basket
  4. Cover and steam for 20 minutes
  5. Set aside into the bowl
  6. Boil the coconut cream, sugar, salt and pandan leaves
  7. Pour the coconut mixture into the cooked sticky rice
  8. Cover and res them around 20-30 minutes
  9. Make the coconut topping as belows
  10. Then, prepare the mango
  11. Serve with sticky rice topping with roasted split monk bean
How to make: Coconut topping
  • Combine the coconut cream and salt
  • Stirring until dissolve completely
