Yok Manee (Thai Dessert) – Sago in Pandan Juice ขนมหยกมณี

Yok Mannee (Sago in Pandan Juice) menu is a Thai traditional dessert that used sago and Pandan juice for the main ingredient.

It  is originally made by white sago in combination with Pandan juice. It is an easy menu that everyone can make it and can follow easily.

It is also one of the popular Thai dessert. It smells really good from coconut and Pandan juice.

Coconut Ball (Thai Traditional Dessert) - Ka Nom Tom (ขนมต้ม)

Coconut Ball (Ka Nom Tom) is a traditional Thai dessert which was dated back since the Sukhothai period.

It is a popular Thai dessert which is preferably opted to serve in many Thai ceremonies. 

Steamed glutinous rice flour wrapped in sweet coconut stuffed which stirring until smooth and delicious, then boil until done, finally mix well with coconut.

Toddy Palm in Coconut Milk (Thai Dessert) – Luk Tarn Buat ลูกตาลแกงบวด

Previous post, cooking recipe provided a recipe for Toddy Palm in Syrup. In this post, cooking recipe for another version of Toddy Palm but it will be mixed with coconut milk instead of syrup.

If you ever try banana in coconut milk or Kluai Buat Chi before, you should also try Luk Tarn Buat Thai dessert. It is another version of Buat dessert but use toddy palm instead of banana.

Met Khanun (Thai Dessert) – Thai Bean Paste เม็ดขนุน

Met Khanun Thai dessert is always served in set with Thong Yip, Thong Yoy and Foi Thong. The main ingredients are mung bean, duck egg yolk and sugar. 

It uses in auspicious ceremony because it has meaning of “always has supporters”. It can be combined with Foi Thong, and preserved and dried fruits and served with crushed ices.

Wun Look Choup (Thai Dessert) – Fruit Shaped Mung Beans in Jelly วุ้นลูกชุบ

Wun Look Choup or Fruit Shaped Mung Beans in Jelly dessert is a fusion menu that has been adapted from original one. This dessert look not only colorful but also delicious.

Look choup will be added in jelly that consist of several of favors, such as coconut milk or tropical fruit favor. It smells good from the ingredients.

This menu will be served cold and it is a nice menu in summer when the weather is hot.

Crispy Jelly is very colorful Thai dessert and a nice menu for party, also very easy to do but need time to finish. It uses few ingredients to do, just agar-agar powder and sugar. 

For color and aroma, choose that you can find easily and like it. The longest part is dried with sunlight. If around your home has nice sky and strong sunlight, it will take fewer days to dry our sweet.

It is a shortbread cookie that has flower shape known as Lumduen flowers which have a unique and beautiful three-petal formation.

Sweet Noodles in Coconut Milk (Thai Dessert) – Salim ซ่าหริ่ม

Salim or mung bean noodles are Thai sweet that is popular in Thailand and can find in sweet street vendor. In previous post, cooking recipe also provide a similar sweet which is called Pandan Noodles with Coconut Milk.

Mung bean noodles have multi colors, normally green pink and white. Mung bean flour will be mixed with water and food coloring and use Salim press to make noodles.

Pandan Noodles with Coconut Milk or Kanom Lod Chong is popular Thai sweet that you will find easily at street vendor in Thailand.

Thai Coconut Milk Custard (Thai Dessert) - Khanom Thuai ขนมถ้วย

Thai Coconut Milk Custard is Thai traditional dessert with 3 main ingredients flour, coconut milk and palm sugar. Cooking recipe will show how to make this Thai dessert. It has taste and ingredients similarly as Kanom Kuy or Thai steamed cone cake.
