Steamed Thai Cantaloupe Cake (Thai Dessert) – Kanom Tang Thai ขนมแตงไทย

Today, best cooking recipes will provide another Thai dessert recipes to make "Steamed Thai Cantaloupe Cake (Kanom Tang Thai)".
If you know Thai steamed cakes such as banana cake, taro cake or pumpkin cake, you will love this sweet. This sweet made from Thai cantaloupe or Tang Thai mixed with another flours and coconut milk, then steamed until done.
Ingridients: for 3-4 portions
  • 250 g. Muskmelon
  • 200 g. rice flour
  • 50 g. tapioca flour
  • 250 g. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup ripe coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
How to cook:
  1. Mash muskmelon
  2. And add sugar, rice flour, tapioca flour, and salt
  3. Add coconut milk
  4. Mix together and rest them 5 minutes
  5. Pour into tray and steam 20-25 minutes
  6. Cool down and cut into well pieces
  7. Top with coconut shredded before serve
  8. Ready to serve :P
