Pandan and Coconut Jelly (Thai Dessert) - Wun Gati Bai Tuey (วุ้นกะทิใบเตย)

Pandan and Coconut Jelly is a simple Thai Dessert and easy to cook dessert. It does not take much time to cook this delicious dessert. Moreover, it is beautiful and has contrast layers between green and white. Pandan flavor make this dessert so unique and feel freshly when eat it. Also, it is a good dessert to make at home for you family at the weekend and serve cold in hot climate.
Ingridients: Pandan juice layer
  • 1 cup pandan juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. agar agar powder
Ingridients: For the coconut layer
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp agar agar powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
How to cook: Pandan Juice Layer
  1. Prepare pandan juice
  2. chopped around 5 padan leaves and blended with 1 cup of water
  3. Strain through a cheesecloth and discard the leaves
  4. Boiled water and add agar agar powder
  5. Heat until agar agar is completely dissolved
  6. Add sugar and padan juice
  7. Mix well
  8. Remove from the heat and pour into a half of cup
  9. Let's it cool down in refrigerator until the layer almost set
How to cook: Coconut Layer
  1. Boiled water and add agar agar powder
  2. Heat until agar agar is completely dissolved
  3. Add sugar, salt, and coconut cream
  4. Mix together
  5. Set already
  6. Pour on the top of the pandan layer
  7. And cool down in refrigerator until the jelly set completely
  8. Ready to serve :P
