Spicy Chinese Sausage Salad (Thai Food) – Yum Kun Chiang ยำกุนเชียง

This menu is an easy recipe that can be cooked easily at home. Dried Chinese sausage or Kun Chiang is original from China but it is very well known in Thailand. 

It is widely used in many Thai and Chinese cuisine and can be stored for long time.
Ingridients: for 2 portions
  • 4-5 Chinese sausage
  • 2-3 cucumbers
  • 4 Shallots
  • 2-3 Chinese celery
  • 10 red chilies
  • 2 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 3 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Palm oil for deep frying
How to cook:
  1. Cut and sliced the cucumbers, shallots, chili, Chinese celery, spring onions, and lime
  2. Cut Chinese sausage into well pieces
  3. Warm palm oil into medium-low heat
  4. Deep fry Chinese sausage around 1-2 minutes or cook
  5. Cool down on tray
  6. Mix sugar, fish sauce, and lime juice together
  7. Add chili, shallots, cucumbers, Chinese sausage, spring onions, and Chinese celery
  8. Mix well
  9. Ready to serve :)
