Steamed Banana Cupcake (Thai Dessert) - เค้กกล้วยหอมนึ่ง

In this post, cooking recipe will give another recipe for Thai dessert called "Steamed Banana Cupcake".

This menu is a plain banana cupcake but making by steaming method, not ordinary baking. It is a recipe for people who do not have oven at home and want to do banana cupcake.

It is simple to cook and a quick recipe but it tastes so good.

Ingridients: For 10 portions
  • 250 g. cake flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 350 g. banana
  • 50 g. palm sugar
  • 150 g.sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g. milk
  • 150 g. butter
  • Aluminum cake cup and paper liners
How to cook:
  1. Sieve flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. Mix banana, palm sugar, sugar, salt, egg, and milk
  3. Add flour, and butter
  4. Mix together
  5. Prepare aluminum cake cup with paper liners
  6. Pour batter into prepare cups to nearly full
  7. Steam for about 15 minute until the cake is done
