Stir Fried Chicken with Basil (Thai Food) - Pad Kra Pao Kai ผัดกระเพราไก่

Stir fried chicken with basil is a famous Thai dish with salty and a bit spicy flavor. Its nice smell of Thai basil leave makes you feel so hungry and wanna taste it.

It is good to serve together with a fried egg is really delicious.

This Thai food is quite easy and quick recipe that you can serve anywhere.
Ingridients:
  • 1 cup of basil leaves
  • 300 g. chicken thigh
  • 10 Thai garlic cloves
  • 4 Thai chillies
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. black soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup of water
How to cook:
  1. Pluck basil leaves off the stems
  2. Chop garlic
  3. Then, chop chillies
  4. Cut the chicken into a bite pieces
  5. Heat a wok on high heat
  6. Add oil, garlic, and Chili
  7. Stir fry them for about 20 seconds or so until they get really fragrant
  8. Put chicken
  9. Add just a tiny splash of water
  10. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black soy sauce
  11. Keep stir frying for about another 30 seconds
  12. Add basil leaves and stir fried together in 5 seconds
  13. Turn off the heat
  14. Ready to serve with rice and fried egg
