Shrimp Paste Chili Dip - Nam Prik Kapi (น้ำพริกกะปิ)

Today, cooking recipe Khmer/Thai cuisine is glad to show you how to cook and other Thai spice Dip which is called "Nam Prik Kapi" in Thai.

It is a good food for vegetable lover. How to cook other Thai Spicy Dip - Thai Mushroom Chilli Dip.

You can eat this chili dip with fresh vegetables, Chaom fried egg and fried Thai mackerel. This menu is easy to make and delicious, just eat with steamed rice. Ingridients:
  • 3 tbsp. roasted shrimp paste
  • 2 tbsp. dried shrimps
  • 10 Thai garlic cloves
  • 10-15 bird chilies
  • 2 tbsp. palm sugar
  • 2 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 4-5 tbsp lime juice
  • 5-10 bird chilies, Garnish
  • 5 pea eggplants, Garnish
How to cook:
  1. Roasting the shrimp paste in a banana leaf on medium heat. Set aside
  2. Pound dried shrimp until smooth. Set aside
  3. Pound garlic and bird chili
  4. Add roasted shrimp paste, and dried shrimps
  5. Seasoning with palm sugar, fish sauce and lime juice
  6. Add pea eggplants and bird chilies over it before serve
  7. Serve with fried Thai mackerel and fresh or blanched vegetables
