Thai Spicy Prawns Soup (Thai Food) - Tom Yum Kung ต้มยำกุ้ง

Spicy River Prawns Soup (Tom Yum Goong) is Thai popular menu for soup recipes and famous all over the world. 

It is the most Thai popular menu that well-known among the foreigners.

With full flavored of various types of herbs, plus the big river shrimp. It usually serves with hot rice.
Ingridients:
  • 4 Prawns
  • 5 Straw mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp. lime juice
  • 4 shallots
  • 4 kaffir lime leaves
  • 5 slide Galangal
  • 2 lemongrass
  • 10 bird chili
  • 2 tbsp. Thai chili paste
  • 1/2 cup Evaporated milk
  • 3 tbsp. fish sauce
Preparation:
  1. Prepare prawns
  2. Cut galangal into thin rounds
  3. Crush lemon grass
  4. Use white part of stalk
  5. Rip Kaffir lime leaves
  6. Crush shallots
  7. Cut straw mushrooms, chili, lime
How to cook:
  1. Boil water
  2. Add herbs and Straw mushrooms
  3. Boil around 5 minuts
  4. Add prawns
  5. Pour soup with Thai chili paste mix well
  6. Add Thai chili paste
  7. Add fish sauce
  8. Add Evaporated milk
  9. Turn off the heat
  10. Add limes juice
  11. Add bird chili and coriander
