Fried Rice with Soured Pork (Thai Food) – Khao Pad Naem ข้าวผัดแหนม

Previous post, cookingrecipe already provides a deliciouse recipe for fried rice. With this post, we will give you another yummy fried rice with soured pork.

If you like soured pork or Naem, you may like this simple dish. It is normal and really simple menu for everyday meal same as Khao Pad Krapow (Fried Rice with Basil).

You can find this dish everywhere in Thailand or you can cook by yourself easily, just have soured pork or Thai soured pork sausage.

Ingridients: For 2 portions
  • 2 cup jasmine rice
  • 1/2 cup fermented pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1-2 tbsp. spring onion
  • 2 tbsp. garlic
  • 10-15 bird chili
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper ground
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
How to cook:
  1. Heat the wok over medium-high
  2. Add oil, garlic, and chili and stir fry until fragrant
  3. Add fermented pork, onion, and egg
  4. Stir-fry around 1-2 minute
  5. Add jasmine rice
  6. Stir-fry together
  7. Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and pepper
  8. Finally add spring onion
  9. Stir-fry until cook
  10. Ready to serve :P
