Crispy Jelly (Thai Dessert) - Woon Krob วุ้นกรอบ

Crispy Jelly is very colorful Thai dessert and a nice menu for party, also very easy to do but need time to finish. It uses few ingredients to do, just agar-agar powder and sugar. 

For color and aroma, choose that you can find easily and like it. The longest part is dried with sunlight. If around your home has nice sky and strong sunlight, it will take fewer days to dry our sweet.

Ingridients: for 2-3 portions
  • 1 tbsp. agar agar powder
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 cup sugar
  • Food coloring
How to cook:
  1. Boil water with agar-agar powder until dissolved completely
  2. Add sugar
  3. Keep stirring around 10-15 minute or until the mixture thicken up
  4. Separate into 3 cups
  5. Drop food coloring that you like
  6. Pour into tray
  7. Set aside until set
  8. Cut into well pieces and put on rack tray
  9. Cover with white cheesecloth
  10. Sun dried around 2-3 days or until dried
  11. Ready to serve
